Check out G.E.M.S. (Global Enrichment Mentoring Systems), a leadership empowerment network designed to teach, mentor, coach, support, and inspire girls and women. This multi-level educational development program will help select participants find their life purpose so they may shine brilliantly in their communities.
From the Desk of the Visionary
One Spring afternoon in May 1989 while living in Westchester County, New York, I envisioned a network. I wrote the vision down and hid it in my heart until the appointed time. As the years progressed, I began seeing glimpses of the destiny materialize.
In 2012, I followed the prompting and started leading a women's group of 17 professionals in my home. During each encounter, women shared, cried, laughed and came together to grow into a resourceful network. I witnessed the reshaping and defining of each woman into the wonderfully fearfully made priceless jewel she was created to be. These purposed royal diadems reminded me of the earlier vision entrusted to me and propelled me to rewrite it and make it plain. This was the appointed time ...
Thus, the foundation of Global Enrichment Mentorship Systems (GEMS) was laid and on December 22, 2016, and our non-profit organization was born.
"Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth and speaks with wisdom. She girds her loins with strength, and strengthens her arms. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. She considers a field, and buys it: with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excels them all." Proverbs 31:10-31
So, I say to you, young lady, woman, and sister, you are chosen for such a moment as this, and you shall walk in purpose, on purpose, and for purpose! I speak to every gift, every talent, every hidden treasure that lies dormant within you. I call your uniqueness forth as a radiant light to be used as a GEM. I declare and decree --- it is your time to SHINE!

Have you ever felt a hunger from the innermost part of your being, but nothing around you is satisfying that hunger? Besides God being the one to fill any void in your life, that void will not be filled if you aren’t living your PURPOSE.
The definition of purpose is “the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.” There is a purpose for your existence herein on the earth. I think I’ll say that again. Woman, the world needs you! When we think about purpose, it goes beyond your career/profession. It extends to your home, your family, your church, your community, and your identity..... you are “fearfully and wonderfully made”, (Psalm 139:14). You were created with everything that you need to accomplish your purpose inside of you!
In order to fulfill our purpose, we must find out what it is. Take some time for self-reflection, seek God; think about your passion, your desires, and your strengths. Your purpose isn’t too big or too small. It’s exactly what the world needs. Hello Gem, you have so much to offer! Remember, the world needs YOU!
